    Hi John,

    Open Windows File Explorer

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

    Hi John

A Media Test Failure indicates a problem with your hard drive . . .

Boot up your PC, then on the Dell logo screen, repeatedly press F12

Choose Diagnostics from the resulting menu and run that

If asked if you want to run an extended Memory Test, choose not to

Does your hard drive pass that diagnostics test?

I don’t get spinning dots on start up what happens is i get the Dell logo and then it says media test failure check cable I get another error message saying exiting Intel boot agent and then it says no boot device found please press any key to reboot the machine. When I push any key to reboot it starts the process all over again.

    Hi John

I am sorry about that, you did not explain that you could not get into Windows in your original post . . .

Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

    Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt . . . etc.

Please try each option one at a time, then see of Windows will boot . . .

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Repair

See if Windows startup can repair itself

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - System Restore

Check to see if you have a restore point you can go back to

If you do not have a Restore Point, go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Settings and click Restart

Upon restart, press 4 to enter Safe Mode

Once in Safe Mode, backup your data if you do not already have a backup

Open Device Manager and check to make sure all your Drivers are up to date

Reboot to see if Windows will start Normally

If the above fails, go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Options - Reset this PC

Choose to keep your files and apps, just your files or to keep nothing

    Then start the Reset

This would require that my computer was able to start up i.e. boot up and it will not do that. I can get it to launch Settings when I hit F2 during start up. But I don’t know what settings to adjust or change in order to get it to boot up. Please help....thanks
