I can use the SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) for Migrating file shares to sharepoint。
I can also use the Migration Manager for Migrating file shares to sharepoint。
Is there a big difference between Migration Manage and SPMT in terms of file shares?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

As per my experience, I found the only difference between Migration Manager and SPMT is that If you use SPMT to migrate file shares, the source content can be on your local computer(for example, C:\foldername) or on a network file share. However, if you use Migration Manager to migrate file shares, the source content can only be on a network file share and the source path have to use the format say \contoso\foldername. You can choose any tool to deploy the migration, I don’t think there is any big difference between them.
