MICROSOFT LifeCam VX-3000 Drivers for WINDOWS 10

First download this driver : http://download.microsoft.com/download/C/B/8/CB...

It should extract files : choose where to extract them and in the folder launch setup.exe (not the other .exe file). Make sure your webcam is unplugged when you start the installation.

At a certain point the installation wizard will ask you to plug in your webcam : try all your usb ports until you hear the famous sound when you plug in a device into your computer. Once you have heard the sound you can click on "Next" and finish the installation process.

I could have it fixed today for a LifeCam VX-3000 today 10 May 2020 while my PC is running the latest version of Windows 10 !!!

Connect you webcam to have it recognized and added as peripheral. Then it is very important to right-click on the Windows menu icon at bottom left of the screen to reach the peripherals, instead of using the usual Parameters menu doing a left-click on it! Doing so you can indeed select the search for the driver in a local PC folder.

I need to install VX-3000 drivers, I do not have the original disc

Tried that process and run setup.exe and/or setupstb.exe, but Windows 10 continues to prevent me from installing it. I get the following message:

Also tried to run it under compatibility mode to previous versions of Windows and got the exactly the same error.

Any thoughts / further help available?

I'm having the same problem, where I get a message that the driver can't run on my pc. I don't want to have to spend money and buy a new camera. Please find the solution to this problem that everyone keeps having. Thank you.
