Internet Information Services(IIS) Manager not working after moving ssd to a new pc

I recently moved my SSD to a new pc, everything works fine except IIS Manager, which shows only a white screen on the task bar and won't event open its window (screenshot attached). I already tried removing and adding the related windows features, removing (with backup) every IIS related folder (C://inetpub, C://Windows/System32/intersrv), cascading windows in case it's out of screen without any luck. Is there anything else I can try to solve this issue?

    Hi,

thanks for the relpy and help. Surprisingly this afternoon the problem was gone (I was struggling with it for a couple of days). Unfortunately I can’t recall any specific action that might have led to solving this issue.

    Hi applegjuice,

Thanks for confirming. For uninstalling IIS, nope. I don't trust GUI sometimes, thus, I prefer the codes. Well, let's try to isolate the issue by trying these steps below:

    1. Let's see if you have a corrupted Windows User Profile. Temporarily enable the built-in Admin User & login as that user. Then test if the issue persists.

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

    1. If it persists, then open Command Prompt as Adminstrator & run the below command.

    SFC /scannow

    1. Once done, reboot your PC & test the issue.

I hope this helps. Let me know how you go. Thank you!

    Sincerely,

    Paul A.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for the help! Unfortunately I wasn't able to run these Remove-WindowsFeature, Install-WindowsFeature commands because a windows 10 client-based operating system is installed on my workstation. Although I think these commands would accomplish the same as the GUI for Turning Windows features on or off that I already tried.

Any other ideas, what I could try to get past this IIS Manager white screen problem? I was thinking, maybe it is using some sort of hardware acceleration and when I moved my SSD to my new PC, it run into some incompatibility with the new hardware.

    Thanks in advance!
