very small icons and very small text in taskbar,

Hi ,my name is Colin i have just bought a new Dell inspiron 15 model 3585,The problem i have is tiny text and icons on task bar,and when i right click on anything that text is also so very small,i might add that in settings the text size is normal size, ease of access is of no help,because i can only make the task bar fonts smaller again ,its already set to large,this my 6th computer and never before have i had a problem in setting up from new, Kind regards Colin.                   ,,,,,, these commas represent the size of the text [approximately]

    Hi there Colin,

    My name is Jin and I am an independent technical adviser. I can see that you find the icons in your Taskbar small.

    You can actually change this via the Settings. Right click on the Taskbar and select Taskbar Settings. It should bring you to Personalization window and select the Taskbar tab. Make sure to turn off the "Use small taskbar buttons."

    Let me know if you need more help on this.

    In "Settings," under "Display," I re-visited "Advanced Scaling Settings" and set it to 125%.  It didn't help at all yesterday, but for some reason is MUCH more satisfactory today.  Anything bigger than that doesn't look proper.   You might want to give it a try for yourself.

    If it makes you feel any better I too bought a new Dell computer and am having the same problem.  Virtually everything is much too small to view in all menus, tabs, programs, websites, etc.  

    Spent much of a DAY adjusting (and re-adjusting) fonts, resolutions, browser settings, and reading everything there is to read on the Internet without success.  VERY frustrating there is no apparent solution!  I am not a happy camper...

    Please don't anyone post a one line response telling me to adjust anything in ANY settings, regular or advanced..have already been there and done that.  Thanks.

    In addition to my above posting, I went into "Ease of Access," "Display," and set "Make Text Bigger" to 105%.  Just about perfect now.  

    I realize these are the standard approaches listed virtually everywhere for resolution of this issue, but NOTHING was working in the beginning.   I'm more of a happy camper now.

    Its already set to large, thought I made that clear, thank though for the fast response, I might add it not just the task bar that has very small print ,if i right click, the drop down is also tiny text,your reply is normal  size as is my reply
