windows update seems to have broken motherboard

As I turned my (desktop) on this morning (21,03,2020) windows started updating, when it was finished my HDMI ports stopped working. luckily my spare monitor is using DVI so still worked. Now windows had booted (in a different aspect ratio than normal) and there were a few things that were wrong, for one it no longer said my name, it said "user" moreover the turn off button/ option was missing (this could have just been off screen because of the off aspect ratio). When I went to sign in I got a message saying sign in is not available right now (that's not word for word I can't remember the exact wording) so I left it for a few minutes. Same result so I restarted the PC. This is where all the real problems started. Now windows isn't booting, it keeps saying "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key" it was at this point I found my mouse and keyboard no longer lighting up. I tried rebooting. same result. So I disassembled my PC and cleaned it. Still giving the same message, still the ports aren't working (I know the ports aren't working because the USB I use later didn't work) So I tried creating a boot media with the windows media creation tool, when I plugged it into my PC I still got the same message. This has led me to believe that the cause of the problem is all ports on my motherboard (including the SATA ports) have stopped working. Im not sure why this has happened, I assume something about this windows update has caused this but not sure why. Moreover it is important to know this is a PC I use everyday and up until now had no issues, no slowdown in games or problems loading applications so I do not think there is any physical damage to the hardware. I'll give a specs list as best as I can

Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600x 6 core's

PSU: EVGA 750 GQ

RAM: 8x2 corsair

GPU: 1060 6GB

Motherboard: Gigabyte

SSD (where windows is): 250GB

You can remove the internal battery from the PC, wait about 15 minutes to put it back and then try to turn on your PC.

    Hi, MatthewSale

My name is Evelyn and I am an Independent Advisor. I would be happy to help you today.

Try entering Safe Mode to repair Windows.

To activate the automatic repair mode, you must interrupt the normal boot process three or more consecutive times: use the reset or power button on your Windows 10 PC to stop it during startup, before you finish loading Windows 10. Yes use the power button, you may have to hold it down for at least 5 seconds to force the power off

If this does not work try the other way: force power off, press and hold the power switch for 20 seconds, then wait for ten and restart

Then you proceed to repair the computer:

With a restart, all your installed applications are lost, but you have the option to save your files if you wish. If there is an OEM system image, called a recovery partition, it also offers you the option to restore it. It would cause your PC to load to factory default settings.

Go to the Troubleshooting section, again.

    Select Reset.

If you choose to keep my files, your files will be preserved. You can also get the third option: restore factory settings, which is not applicable on the PC.

After selecting the desired options, you will be presented with a confirmation, something like this: this indicates what you have chosen.

Click Reset and the reset will begin.

If after the previous steps you cannot recover Windows.

You can repair Windows download the ISO:

I recommend you borrow a PC to create a USB to repair Windows
