I am trying to convert an excel sheet to pdf in windows 10.  I follow the instructions using Export.  But instead of saving the current sheet, it saves a sheet from 2 years ago which is not opened

I have been following the instructions to convert

    1. file
    2. export
    3. create pdf
    4. save as pdf
    5. options, entire workbook , OK
    6. Publish

The resulting file is not the excel sheet I have open, but rather one from Nov 2017

What version of Microsoft Excel are you using?

Are you facing similar issue when you attempt to convert from other Microsoft Products (e.g. Microsoft Word) to PDF?

Hi John. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 years Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator here to help you.

Windows 10 comes with a PDF converter in the Printer dialogue. Try choosing Print, then choose the PDF printer which will save any file as a PF.

If that doesn't look right then try one of these converters for Excel files to PDF format:

    https://www.pdfpro.co/excel-to-pdf

    https://www.pdf2go.com/excel-to-pdf

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

Open the desired Excel file and confirm it's the one you want

Choose Print (Cntrl + P) and choose Print to PDF, then Print.

Now is the important Step. Choose to Save As and select a new location and file name to save the file you're still looking at so it can't be any other.

Now go into File Explorer and open the new Saved PDF file.
