    Hi Thomas,

unfortunately you will need some kind of application that steers the webcam. With Logitech that was probably the Logitech proprietary software like Logitech Capture. The EMeet webcam doesn't come with that kind of proprietary software, hence the price difference with Logitech, but you could use Youcam for example to test your webcam (search for Youcam in your browser or go to https://www.cyberlink.com/products/youcam/features\_en\_EU.html?r=1). Otherwise in Skype you can go to Audio & Video settings before opening a live session to test your webcam. You can find these settings by clicking on the three dots on the right of your name in Skype, go to settings and then click on Audio & Video.

    Regards, Menno.

I simply want to activate EMEET C960 directly, without or before using an app. I could do this with my older version Logi webcam. I have the "HD Webcam eMeet C960" shortcut on my desktop, but I can't seem to turn the camera on. If I go to Skype or Zoom or whatever, it will activate - but I like to turn my camera on and check my video and audio FIRST, then I usually cut it off - THEN go to the video app and use it like normal. So... how can I just turn the camera on directly?

    Hello there, I don't have Windows 10. I have a mac Sierra 10.12.6.

Will the EMEET C960 work on this with Zoom? I've tried a couple times and I think either I am not doing something right or this is;t compatible with my old mac, (its a 2011)

    Thank you

    Jenni

Yes Gymmy that is actually a plug and play device so all you need to do is to plug it on a USB port and Windows 10 will automatically install the drivers for it.

TO BOTH RESPONSES:  Wilford P  AND lacrumb : Thanks for quick response to both of you.  I thought the unit should be a plug & play device; however, the instructions confused me with details that I could not implement.  I am using a Dell OptiPlex 3020 PC desktop running on WIN 10.   Guys, Let me spend some time tomorrow applying both your instructions and then I will provide a followup.   Appreciate you both.
