Screen flickering, especially after a long period of using the laptop, can be caused by a hardware issue. If its an issue on the operating system or driver, you should be experiencing that flickering all the time that you use your computer. I would suggest getting asssistance with a local technician so they can physically inspect your laptop.
Hp Spectre flickers
My laptop specs are: HP Spectre x360 - 15-bl112dx
Intel Core i-7 8550U CPU Display Adapters:
Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 NVIDIA GeForce MX150

My screen keeps flickering like this whenever there is a change in display which is either when i close my laptop to sleep or switch from charging to battery or turn it off. This also occurs whenever I have used it for long period of time without rest(8-10hrs). But if I turn off or close my laptop for 30-40 mins this issue goes away and it starts working perfectly fine.
I have tried updating all drivers. Uninstalling and deleting the driver and then downloading the latest Intel Graphical Drivers. I have also done all the BIOS and firmware updates. After suggestions from Microsoft forum i've also unistalled and reinstaled my battery drivers as well and changed power settings. I have reset to factory version twice as well and it did not help.
I'm not sure on what the issue is because 95% of them time this laptop works perfectly fine which suggests that there isnt a big issue. Please help if someone has faced a similar issue.

2020-04-08T02:05:30+00:00 Hi Abbinav,
This is Wil, one of the independent advisor, an expert with Windows 10 and a fellow Windows 10 user like you. I understand your concern about flickering screen on laptop.
Based on what you have mentioned it works 95% of the time and only experienced it after 8 to 10 hrs of using your laptop and once you rested your laptop for 30 to 40 mins it goes away automatically. Having said that we can also consider that it is hardware issue due to overusage. Have you consulted a local technician with this issue. Can you also check these 2 videos and see which one of these are you experiencing on your laptop.
