Hi Everybody,
Today I just found a folder called "defaultuser100000" in C drive "C:\Users". I searched on Google and found some limited information. Some of them suggests that it has been created due to latest Windows 10 updates. Can anyone give me any informations about it? Should I delete it or leave it as it is. It contains three files. So, any help appreciated.

Hi BINOYGHOSH
During a large Windows update, your user profile is set aside and a temporary user profile is created, then at the end of the update, your system will restart and that temporary profile will be deleted and your user profile is restored
Sometimes, this does not happen on the system restart and that is the folder you are seeing
Before you attempt to delete that, open that profile folder and check inside to make sure none of your personal files exist there
Also, open a Command prompt and run this command then hit Enter:
whoami
If that command returns your correct user profile name, then you can safely delete that folder . . .
Hello DaveM121,
Thanks for your quick reply. I don't have personal files inside it. It just have these three files.
"ActivitiesCache.db", "ActivitiesCache.db-shm", and "ActivitiesCache.db-wal". What should I do with these?
Can I delete those files? Thank you.
