I live in an apartment building and my Windows 10 Dell computer was working perfectly until this morning when it would no longer show the apartment WiFi. I know that the WiFi is not the issue because my phone is connecting no problem and so are all of my roommates devices on the same network. I have tried running trouble shoots and have not been able to find an issue. Please help I need this computer to work.

Hi there HangMan97, I will be your Independent Advisor for today, I hope we can both resolve your problem.

What have you run so far in terms of fixing or troubleshooting it?

Do you have any Wireless Switch at the side of your laptop? If you have please switch it On.

And also please we need to completely uninstall the Wifi Driver off your system.

Here is how to do it.

Here the steps to completely remove a Device off your computer.

Step 1. Use shortcut keys Windows key + X on Windows 10.

    Step 2. Select Device Manager.

Step 3. Expand the entry Network Adapters . Right-click the problematic device which is Wireless or WiFi driver and select Uninstall device.

Step 4. You need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button.

    Step 5. Reboot the computer.

After the reboot please check if you can access your WiFi.

If you uninstall it completely and reboot that should reinstall the driver back again. It is just like you are reloading it back to its place.

Click on the WiFi icon then check if you see any hidden network there as one of the options. If you see hidden network please click on it, enter the SSID and the wifi password.
