Dear Community,

I am working with a new Laptop. I need to work with the application, named SolidWorks but the program won´t go further as its first loading page.

I can click on the icon to start the program but it crashes after showing the starting window for 1-2 seconds.

I tried to talk with it support of solidworks but they told me, this problem is with windows. They couldn´t do anything. Starting this program as an admin won´t solve the problem.

Hello,

I apologize in advance for my English.

I had the same problem, probably because of the update windows.

I solved it with solidworks support.

Solution:

1.Go to setting the date and time.

look into the area (location)
and set your country.

I am from the Czech Republic and I had a time stamp on the Czech Republic but a location in the USA. That was the problem.
