Hi,
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
We understand your concern as you are unable to use the Night Light feature in Windows 10. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below.
- What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type winver in Windows search/Run command)
- Are you aware of any changes recently on this PC, prior to this issue?
Meanwhile, we would like you to use these steps to reset the Night light settings using the registry to fix the problem.
- Press Windows + R key to launch Run command, then type regedit and click OK.
- Navigate to this location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CloudStore\Store\DefaultAccount\Cloud
- Inside the “Cloud” (folder) key, right-click and delete the following two keys (folders):
- $$windows.data.bluelightreduction.bluelightreductionstate
- $$windows.data.bluelightreduction.settings
- Restart your computer and then check.
Let us know how it goes.
