How can I remove icon links on my top bar? windows 10

Recent changes have made it difficult at times to manage my top horizontal bar eg when I want to save a link to a new web page.

You'll see from the following snip that I've already tried to save space by changing the titles eg My Profile is 'PROF'

This bar is really tight for room so I want to delete the blue @ sign but it won't let me. It's not part of the "CEO" link to the right. What should I do please?

Hi neilpzz. There used to be a vertical Feedback tag down the right-hand side of the screen but that's gone. I didn't find any reference to Feedback in my Setting so I searched for it and got this menu:

None of these seem relevant. What should I do now please?

Hi there Taffy087 , I will be your Independent Advisor for today, I hope we can both resolve your problem.

If you are using the Internet explorer you can manually remove the the shortcut by right clicking it and click delete. If that didn't work then please try this method, Open up File explorer, navigate to C:\Users\Username\Favorites\Favorites Bar, look for the link or URL you need to delete then delete it.

    Hope this helps. Good luck

It didn't work. I clicked on 'delete' but that deleted both the @ sign and the title (CEO mail). I've got it back but as it was before; the @sign and title must be joined.

I then clicked on Favourites bar, it said "This folder is empty."

It looks like there are only 13 slots available on my task-bar, regardless of length of the title. Is yours restricted to 13?

Is this Chromium Edge Favourites Bar? It doesn't appear to be very manageable at the moment you may have to just give feedback and continue to use it as is.

Feedback is Settings and more > Help and Feedback.
