Hello, I have been trying to run this terrible game called Resident evil 3 and the game freezes up at the logo exe stopped working. There was a message says I need to download video codec WMvideo Decoder? I want to download it from Microsoft website and not other places as it's more safe. Can someone send the link for that? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your help but still the game doesn't run and I downloaded this video coded thing and my Antivirus gave false alarm. This is a broken demo made by stupid Capcom and all the players are having problems freezing and no solution for it. Thanks.
AssyrianEagle, I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe, we just wait for them to fix the game.
The Codecpack from Microsoft should only be needed when you have Windows 10 N.
It didnt help in my case.
Instead, I had to enable the Legacy Components and DirectPlay.

I don't think Capcom know what to do. The game had poor testers for sure I'm into technology and programming. This is only demo I would call and as greedy company they rush for money. They don't have much experience in creating applications for PC and Resident Evil 2 that has been out over 14 months still they can't fix it's problems until now. I don't think they would come up with the patch and simple, no more buying anything from them at all I hope soon they will on bankruptcy. Thanks for your help again.
