My Bluetooth earbuds won´t show up in the ´connect new devices´ tab.

Yesterday I received my new and first pair of Bluetooth earbuds (iFrogz Sound Hub XD2). They immediately connected to my Iphone 6, but my Lenovo IdeaPad S340 can't find them. I feel like I have already tried everything, from changing things from manual to automatic in 'Services' to making sure to click 'Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC'  to Uninstalling and reinstalling my Bluetooth drivers. I even tried to download an Intel Bluetooth Driver but that wouldn't install? I feel like I have tried everything but I also feel like there is this one thing I should do and then it will all work... Help!

    Hi ToscaS08,

My name is Lee, an independent advisor.

May I know if you have already try turning off the Bluetooth of your Iphone 6 so it will not interrupt the pairing process between the headset and PC?

Also, try to press and hold the Hub button for five seconds until the light flashes red and white, indicating pairing mode and then go back to your Lenovo and click on the add new device in Bluetooth settings.

If that did not work, try to also run the Bluetooth troubleshooter:

    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Select "Bluetooth" > Click "Run the Troubleshooter"

Is all failed to solve the issue, please reply back and we will see what will be the next step based on the result of the steps I gave.

    Regards,

No Problem. May I know if you have already test you PC with another Bluetooth device just to narrow down the possible points of failure? Can you pair you phone with the PC?

Also please confirm if the driver update you mentioned above is through the Lenovo website: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/lap... and by entering your serial number allowing the Lenovo website to detect the best driver for your laptop.

    Kind Regards,

Can't I just use the 'search for updates' option? Instead of having to dowload something? Because according to that my laptop is completely up to date!

Thank you. Would you also please check if you are running the latest version of Windows?

    Try it this way:

    • Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...
    • Click Update now and download the Windows Update Assistant
    • Run the Windows Update Assistant and follow the prompt
    • If windows is up to date, Windows Update Assistant will tell you but if not, it will ask you to download the latest update.
    • Once done, it is normal that you computer will restart multiple times

Please share the result so we can move on to the next step if the issue is still not resolved.

    Kind Regards,

Hi Lee, Thanks for your quick answer! I have even turned my phone completely off... And I have als done the troubleshooter multiple times... I then finds 'controlling status of Bluetooth-Radio' and says it solved that problem. But then it still won't find my earbuds...
