If the problem persists after trying the suggested restart, compare the Properties dialog for the duplicates.

Open each folder in Explorer, the Shift+right-click in the background & select Open PowerShell window here. Do the prompts display identical paths? Does excuting the command 'gci' list the same contents?

Hi RN1234, I am Paulo. I'm an Independent Advisor.

You could try clearing recent history on File Explorer. Open File Explorer > View > Options > Privacy > Uncheck both options then clear

If that didn't work, Navigate to View tab on Folder Options > Scroll down to Navigation Pane then uncheck all

I hope this helps with your concern.

Try restart your PC and see if problem persist.

If yes, report it through Feedback Hub app and make sure add screenshot and reproduce problem.
