I need help uninstalling UltraViewer.  When I  uninstall from the start menu using the normal procedure it just comes back.  I believe it is a dangerous app and need to uninstall it.  Any suggestions?

    Hi KGreen3,

Try all these methods to remove all the footprints of this app:

    1. Uninstall in Control Panel
    • Press Windows + R, type: "control" and hit enter
    • Click Uninstall a program
    • Locate the app there, highlight and click Uninstall
    1. Uninstall in Apps
    • Press Windows + I to open Settings
    • Go to Apps > Apps & features
    • Wait for all the programs list to load and check if this Ultra Viewer is there, if so Uninstall it there
    1. Manually delete the App files
    • Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to open task manager
    • Click the details tab
    • Check if the Ultra Viewer is among the currently running programs
    • Right click Ultra Viewer and click open file location
    • Manually delete all files from the directory
    1. Run Windows Defender Offline Scan (optional if you have no other antivirus)
    • Press Windows + I to open Settings
    • Go to Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Scan options > Windows Defender Offline Scan > Scan now
    1. Microsoft Safety Scanner

If the UltraViewer is still not removed, reply back and screenshot where do you see this program so I can provide you other suggestions.

    Sincerely,

    Lee

Have you run Windows Security and Malwarebytes?

    Hello KGreen3,

Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\UltraViewer\ and run the unins000.exe , it will clean the software for sure. The software does not auto re-install by itself. If it comes back again, maybe a software on your PC auto installs it back.

As it is a Remote PC software, some software may include it as a part of remote support features.

It's a remote support program. Why did you install it? In case you fell for any kind of so-called TechSupport scam, suggest reading/doing:
