camera drivers missing in dell inspiron 3542

first i installed windows 8.1 due to an issue of lock password we had reset and installed windows 7 again it gone through problem and i deleted backup again few days before i installed windows 10 in which integrated camera divers are missing

    They had not given any webcam disk with laptop. The error repeatedly shows that camera not attached and also my windows is up to date. is that possible that the issue is due to update of windows 10

    i did not see any webcam listed in my device manager its not there in  hidden devices and also in other devices& unknown devices it is absent

    Hello,

    Indeed, I've checked for you and Dell doesn't give webcam drivers on his website. However, if you go to Windows Update and you look for updates, Windows might be able to download a generic driver for your computer?

    Also, some people on Dell's forums reported that they had a "Webcam disk" given with their laptop, which includes all drivers. You might want to look for them.
