    I HAVE MADE A DISCOVERY

    Right click on the .scr file outside of System32 and press install.

    Hi,

    I used the software at instant storm to create my scr file and it worked. i can play the scr file but when i mov it to c:\windows\system32 I can't select the file to be set as my screensaver. I get the following message;

    Exception EFOpenError in module tf.scr at 0001E81E.

    Cannot open file c:\WINDOWS\system32\tf.scr

    I tried emailling the developers on the instant storm website but looks like that website has not been maintained for the last six years or so...

    Any ideas on what to do next ?

    thanks,

    HAbib.
