I have a file named bootsqm.dat in my G folder and don't know where it comes from. First I thought it is a virus and deleted it but nothing happened. It always comes back whenever I reopen the G drive. I reinstalled my window to get rid out of it but no luck. can you please help me how can I delete it.

I will be grateful.

    Hi Ghazanfar

The file Bootsqm.dat is created when a disk is checked with chkdsk or any utility you may have installed that will check your drives, that file is absolutely no harm,

Do you run any disk checking on your PC or do you have any utilities installed on your PC like CCleaner or something to speed up your PC?
