- Right-click on the Volume icon in the Taskbar.
- Click on Open Sound settings.
- Scroll down to select Sound Control Panel under Related Settings.
- Go to Recording tab and double-click on your recording device.
- Go to Enhancementstab and tick Disable all sound effects.
- Apply.
- Also check the Levels tab to ensure optimal volume.
Broken microphone after installing a voice changer
i installed a voice changer (clownfish) and after failing to make it work i uninstalled the program and now my microphone is extremely quiet, like i have to YELL to get anyone to hear me. ive tried uninstalling everything and everything ive seen online hasn't worked :(

Regarding your audio issue, I would like to confirm with you, could you run the Audio Troubleshooter ?
Please click on the Start button, type troubleshoot, and then select Troubleshoot. To follow the procedure, please select Playing Audio > Run the troubleshooter.
