Hello.

In my new PC my default documents folder is C:\Users\***\OneDrive\Documents and I would like to change it to just C:\Users\***\Documents as every app's document data is by default saved there and it slows down my connection when it uploads those files in the cloud. Some of the apps that their data is stored there is Adobe, Overwatch, Zoom. Anyway what I'm asking is if i can change the default path and if I want a document in the cloud i will move it myself.

    Hello StylianosAnastasiou,

My Name is Paul one of the Community Advisor and a Microsoft Consumer like you. I do apologize if you are having issues with your Windows 10 Machine and I am here to help you.

To achieve that try to open THIS PC and on the QUICK ACCESS in the left side of your screen you will going to see DOCUMENTS and you just need to simply right click on it and choose properties and got to the Location TAB and try to manage your preferred location. You can also have to option to move the files.

Probably you might need to browse the Applications since it will change its location. Once the files were moved. Create a new shortcut Icon to your desktop from the new Location.

I see, my suggestion is to just manually copy and paste the file/folders to the DOCUMENTS folder instead the one with a subfolder with ONEDRIVE.

I am just curious on why those applications went to the onedrive sub folder.

Ok thanks, but if I do that isn't everything in my one drive folder moving? And also if I move the file programs away from this folder won't the programs have trouble locating them now?
