I have been using SP3 on this machines for many years and until recently i found my computer going very slowly and unstable.I then format the original hardisk using the original disc that comes together with the computer which is a XP sp2 disc.
Machine details: HP nx 6125 Amd process 64 k with OS win XP SP2
Over the period i had upgrade to SP3 and I use this for quite sometimes until lately the problem occurred
I got stuck while finding ways to upgrade to SP3 without success.
With this SP2 i had all the limitation including even installation of Microsoft Office 2010 which is the main application i used for works and other.

Windows XP support has ended. You may try to download from Microsoft's Windows Update catalog to install Windows XP SP3, but you are advised to upgrade as soon as possible.
