Hello Lana, I'm Sam, an Independent Adviser. Glad to assist and help with your question.

The System32 located under The C:\Windows\System32 directory is a critical part of the Windows OS that contains important system files. You shouldn’t delete or change this folder.

However, if it is really important for you to rename this file, you should change the permissions set by Windows 10.

Follow the next steps one by one.

    1. Go to the System32 folder and double-click on.
    2. Right-click on the file and select Properties.
    3. Click on the Security tab, and then on Advanced. You might be asked to enter an administrator password or confirmation.
    4. Look for the Owner and click on Change.
    5. Type Everyone and click on Check Names.
    6. Click on OK, then Add and Select a Principal.
    7. Type Everyone and click on Check Names, then OK.
    8. Click on Full Control and OK.
    9. Click on Apply and then OK.

Do let me know if you have any more questions or require further help.
