Hi, I've been having problems with my Microsoft applications like Microsoft Store. It wouldn't open and after someone helping me, it doesn't even exist anymore. I was wondering if factory resetting my pc would reinstall Microsoft Store, and if so, how would I factory reset? Im Using the Windows 10 Pro edition .

A factory reset restores your computer to the way it was when it left the manufacturer's factory, which is why it's called a factory reset.

If your problem with Microsoft Store is caused by your existing software, then a factory reset will solve the problem. If the problem is not caused by your existing software, a factory reset won't make any difference. You'll only find out if you try.

The same is true if, instead of a factory reset, you try one of Microsoft's resets ("keep my files" and "remove everything.")

No matter which kind of reset you choose, you'll have some additional work to do once the reset itself has completed, so allow some time for that.

    Hi CustomerOne

Yes, resetting Windows will re-install the Store and fix any other issues you may be having with Windows 10

Please Note, resetting Windows will give you the choice of keeping your files, but you should back those up just in case, also, all your software will need to be re-installed after the reset . . .

Click the Power Button on your Start Menu

Press the Shift Key and click Restart

Your PC will boot into the Windows Recovery Environment

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Options - Reset this PC

Choose to keep your files and apps, just your files or to keep nothing

    Then start the Reset
