A factory reset restores your computer to the way it was when it left the manufacturer's factory, which is why it's called a factory reset.
If your problem with Microsoft Store is caused by your existing software, then a factory reset will solve the problem. If the problem is not caused by your existing software, a factory reset won't make any difference. You'll only find out if you try.
The same is true if, instead of a factory reset, you try one of Microsoft's resets ("keep my files" and "remove everything.")
No matter which kind of reset you choose, you'll have some additional work to do once the reset itself has completed, so allow some time for that.
