I found that if you go in sound properties and into your device properties you can turn off sound improvements and it's fixed :)
Nahimic audio issues
Hello,
Recently I ran into a problem with my audio output and I think it has something to do with this nahimic software. It wants to output the audio to a nahimic mirroring device, but I don't have one of those and ive disabled it many times but it always seems to output to something else then my headphones. If I go through the output in my monitor I get the sound but its not very good so I prefer not to use it. It was fine for 2 years, no problems. Another weird thing is that when I start Doom eternal up the first to start up logos have sound, but after that it stops. I can put the 3.5mm jack into the monitor and get sound but as I mentioned it isn't very good. Ive checked all the drivers and it seems that they are all in the most updated except the nahimic software. Also stuff like youtube has great audio, its just some of my games. Any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks in advance.

Turn off Nahimic in your taskbar next to your clock literally right click and exit or kill the process and launch Doom Eternal you will have full audio again. I don't think it's Nahmic that's causing it since it doesn't seem to get updated too often I'm on version 2 for my MSI board. When Doom Eternal launched i could play with Nahimic running they have released 5 patches since then and one of them broke it. I don't know the cause but it does happen to some games. Rockstar updated Rockstar launcher and GTA5 would crash on launch until I turned off nahimic. It's SUPER Strange I don't know why. Nahimic, in my opinion, is good software when working it makes me play better in pubg but these issues have been annoying but its also good to know if your game suddenly has funky audio issues see if its the Nahimic software. Please let me know if this solves your issue cause this very problem was driving me crazy for a day.

2020-04-14T18:29:02+00:00 I have tried eveything. Please help me fix this!
I cannot get any audio through my speakers after the update. I rolled back the update to remove all traces of Nahimic but as soon as I switch to speakers Nahimic magically comes back in the sound control panel and I get no audio.

2020-04-27T01:13:04+00:00 I had the same ploblem with sound , but I got other problems with 3D apps that are not games. Unable to open stl or ply files, refreshing of windows piling on the top of each other, a nightmare before finding the problem. So I just stopped/deactivate NahimicService, and the result is instant. You restart your programs and all goes well. Win10 2004, last version of Nahimic on 2020-04-26
