In my Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features i see that I've MS Visual C++ Redistributable installed but that are 4 versions.

2013 x64,

2013 x86,

2017 x64

2017 x86

My question is that do I need all of them? If so am missing other 2015 versions and maybe 2019 versions as well? If it is not necessary which version should I uninstall from my PC? Please help

Thanks!

    Hi Billy,

This is Wil, one of the independent advisor, an expert with Windows 10 and a fellow Windows 10 user like you.

The fact that they are on your computer means that Windows 10 and/or your 3rd party applications require them. When you install a program that requires a specific version of Microsoft Visual C++, it will automatically install it first before installing the program. I wouldn't advise you to delete or uninstall any of those as we are not sure of what programs are using them. Aside from that, each of the Microsoft Visual C++ only uses less than 50MB of your hard drive space which is roughly around 0.005% of a 1TB hard drive.

I hope the information I provided will help you. If you need further assistance please do reply back and I will respond as quickly as possible. Have a nice day.

    Thanks,

    Wilfred P.
