I was trying to do a factory reset on an old Toshiba satellite, and someone unplugged it during the reset!! Now, it won't allow me to do anything and I keep getting an error code : F3-F200-002 when I start it!! I'm looking for windows 7 home premium 32-bit, hoping that will get it running again.  I don't have any recovery discs.. please, help so I can try to get this set up for my granddaughter to use.

Thank you, for your help!!

You can borrow the exact same edition of Windows 7 Retail DVD and use your Product Key on the COA sticker to reinstall the operating system.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Or you can use this for preinstalled OEM or Retail Licenses. This is on a first come, first served monthly basis.

Download the correct ISO file and make your own disk and use the Product Key that is on the COA Sticker. This is on a first come, first served weekly basis.

    https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/67-microsoft-windows-and-office-iso-download-tool

    Download: Windows ISO Downloader.exe

And here are instructions on how to burn ISO images to disk:

    http://www.snapfiles.com/get/ISORecorder.html

You change the Boot Order in the BIOS to be able to boot from your installation media:

    Then do a clean install:

The COA sticker is either on the underside of the Laptop or in the Battery Compartment.

With a Desktop it is either on the side, rear or top of the Computer Case.

Using the downloaded ISO file Method may require phone Activation.

It may require that you use phone Activation.

The above method also will require you to go to your Computer Manufacturer's website > Support and Downloads Section > locate your Model Number and Operating System > then download and install the latest Drivers for it.

Using the USB method in conjunction with the above Windows 7 download:

Just my luck, the product key is hopelessly messed up and I can't make out anything! My husbands old pc with windows 7 32bit is a HP, still running fine. I was hoping I could use that product key. Is there a way to purchase windows 7 32bit to use for different computers? I have 3 old toshiba laptops my children left here that are messed, no recovery discs, etc, after preaching!

Thank you, for answering my questions and helping me!

    You have trouble with passwords!

For the Vista one (Toshiba?) without the cracked screen, to reinstall the operating system:

Toshiba: Press 0 (zero) or F12 at Boot as you turn the power on.

    Or:

You can borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD (Retail or OEM System Builders License) , that contains the files for the various Vista Editions (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) to be installed. The Product Key on your Computer / Laptop case determines which Edition is installed.

The COA sticker, which has the Product Key on it, is either on the underside of the Laptop or in the Battery Compartment.

With a Desktop it is either on the side, rear or top of the Computer Case.

Other Manufacturers' Recovery DVDs are not to be used for the above purpose.

And you need to know the "bit" version for Vista, as 32bit and 64bit Editions come on different DVDs.

    To access Boot Menu:

    https://neosmart.net/wiki/boot-usb-drive/

Here is how to do a clean install of Vista, using a Microsoft Vista DVD:

"How to Do a Clean Install and Setup with a Full Version of Vista"

    http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-vista.html

And once the Operating System is installed, go to your Computer Manufacturer's website and obtain the latest Drivers for your particular Model Computer or Laptop.

If you have to use phone activation:

"How to Activate Vista Normally and by Phone Activation"

    http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/84488-activate-vista-phone.html

Microsoft is the one who says yay or nay for Activation.

You have to go through them, but lately a lot of posters have been referred back to here by them when using phone activation.

If that happens use this method of contacting Microsoft:

    HP one is Windows 7?

HP – Press F11 repeatedly at Boot/power on to reinstall the operating system.

You can't use that HP product key on a different computer for the reasons I gave.

To purchase 7, it is too expensive and you take your chances buying on the Net.

A better option for you is to use the information I gave you to either attempt to repair or reinstall the operating systems on those 3 other Toshibas if they have Windows 7 preinstalled on them.

And if they are messed up do they start at all?

    Cheers..
