When I try to login with my PIN I can only type the PIN's first digit.

Well, I think the issue hasn't yet been solved. This morning the problem with the PIN manifested itself again. I had to use my password to logon into Windows. This is becoming ridiculous, to say the least.

    Hi Belloc,

My name is Jocelyn, an independent advisor happy to help.

Do you get an error message/code after you input your PINS' first digit?

Did you try to log in with your PIN in safe mode environment?

Please try the following and check if it helps.

    Solution 1: Reset your PIN

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Click on Accounts.
    3. Click on Sign-in options.
    4. Under the PIN section, click I forgot my PIN.
    5. Verify your password and hit OK.
    6. On the next screen, create a new PIN and follow the on-screen instructions.
    7. Restart your PC and check if you can log in with the new PIN.

If the solution doesn't work, I would suggest you follow the steps provided in the mentioned article below and see if it works for you

I hope this would fix your PIN issue. Let us know if you need anything else.

    Best,

    Jocelyn

It seems that you have already verified your account hence Verify button is not available. Have you already tried the other solutions?

About 2 to 3 hours ago, I received a notification from Microsoft to fix something related to my accounts in MS (see sentence in red below). I'm assuming that this notification came to me as a result from this discussion started by me yesterday on this forum. The pictures below correspond to print screens of each step that I've taken to fix this issue.

    Picture 1

Picture 2 (after clicking on the "Fix now" button above)

Picture 3 (after submitting my password).

Picture 4 (after typing my PIN first digit)

As you can see in the last picture above, I can't continue beyond this point. The system doesn't allow me to type the rest of my PIN. This is exactly the same situation that I'm facing, when I try to logon into Windows using my PIN.

It didn't work for me. I changed my PIN as described but when I try to login with the new PIN, the system stops just after the PIN's first digit. Again I had to login with my password.
