    Hi DanishAamir,

The Memory Diagnostic tool checks the RAM (Computer Memory Card) and not the hard drive. To check if the hard drive is faulty or has bad sectors, you may run CHKDSK instead.

To run CHKDSK, follow these step:

    • Right click Windows icon and select File Explorer

    • Right click drive C:\ and select Properties

    • Click the Tools tab

    • Under Error checking, click Check

    • Click Scan drive

    • Do the same with other drive volumes like D:, etc.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the CHKDSK, most hard drive manufacturer has their own Utility tools that you may download to test the hard drive. Try to visit the your Hard drive manufacturer website as well regarding that tool.

    Sincerely,

    Lee

Hi, Memory and Hard disk are different components. The test indicates memory is okay.

Disk check may be triggered due to a number of reasons - post the logs and we would tell.
