Creative Webcam NX Pro with Windows 10 64 bits?

Dear all,

I have an old Creative Webcam NX Pro.

Any possibility to work on Windows 10 64 bits?

I heard about some specific drivers for Windows 7 64 bits and they were working fine, despite not supported anymore.

Any possibility to share them so I can try to configure it?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Tiago

    Dear Tiago,

Here is a thread about this subject:

    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/lync/en-US/6a9a8ab6-e408-4b7e-bb0b-91d5e3170be8/driver-for-webcam-nx-pro-windows-7?forum=w7itprohardware

I have the driver which was working under win7 x64, as well as Win10 until v.1909 when it stopped working and doesn't allow me to install it.

This driver is ZC0301PL from Vimicro mentioned in the thread, available here:

    http://www.vimicro.com/english/product/pc003.htm

Please share if you find a way to install this camera on Win10 v.1909 (and hopefully still working on next versions)

    Hi!

I found a solution by proceeding as described on this site (in French, but I'm quite sure you can understand).

    https://www.pcastuces.com/pratique/astuces/4799.htm

It works well for me even there is a mismatching in the identification of the camera (see my message above).

I used ZC0301PL driver from Vimicro, found here :

    http://www.vimicro.com/english/product/pc003.htm

I cannot guaranty there's not bug.

For eg. my Comodo firewall icon was not displayed in notification area at first reboot after driver install, then I got stuck when stopping Windows for many minutes until I did a hard reboot. But now it seems everything is back to normal.

Hope this works for you too :-)

I am still under Windows 10 v.1909, and it needs to be confirmed when upgraded to v.2004 (April 2020)
