I understand how difficult it is, when the device or app won't work in the way it should. I would suggest to update USB root hub driver. Follow these steps:
- First right click windows logo + X select "Device Manager"
- Find and right click USB root hub select update driver and choose "Search automatically for updated driver software"
- Restart your computer.
