    Hi Ganesan,

This is Wil, one of the independent advisor, an expert with Windows 10 and a fellow Windows 10 user like you.

Spooler service or Print spooler service is, in simple terms, is the service that tells your computer to print. If you will turn it off, you won't be able to print, see your printer or install a printer. You may access it pressing Windows key + R, type services.msc and press enter. On the Services window, look for Print Spooler on the list. Print Spooler should always be running and set to automatic.

I hope the information I provided will help you. If you need further assistance please do reply back and I will respond as quickly as possible. Have a nice day.

    Thanks,

    Wilfred P.

    Hello,

Please run Printer troubleshooter from Settings app > Update & security > Troubleshoot. See if it helps you.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Wilfred,

Thank You for the assistance. Appreciate it very much.

Did all that you suggested but still not connecting to the printer. I am hard wire connected to the printer. In fact I did all that several times.

The error msg I got was :

    operation could not be completed

    (error 0x0000o6ba)...

The local printer spool service is not running,

Please restart the spooler or restart the machine.

II restarted my lap top but problem persists. I turned the printer of and on again, still the same.

Appreciate any other advice you may have.

    Thank You.

    Ganesan
