    Search 'cmd' in the Windows Start, and it should appear as 'Command Prompt'.

    how do I open the command prompt?

    This is how you get there:

     

    Right click on the far left Windows icon in the Taskbar > select Command Prompt (Admin) to run SFC, etc, or plain Command Prompt if that is what you want.
