Hi Manning, I am really glad you found that, glad to Help!
Explorer disk usage does not match Tree Size
Windows Explorer says my 884 GB C: drive has only 25GB left, but I ran the Tree Size Free utility and I can only find 165GB of stuff on it. (this aligns to my manual checking of directory sizes).
Anyone have any ideas why Explorer is convinced the drive is almost full?

At the bottom of TreeSize it is showing 616 errors, close TreeSize, then right click the icon for TreeSize and choose 'Run as Administrator' does that then show the full space on your hard drive and clear those errors?

2020-06-09T03:24:56+00:00 Yes, I tried all of those, and all combined my temp data is less than 100 MB (so not worth deleting basically).
I have Windows Safety Scanner running a daily scan at 2AM and there are no viruses.
And as the Tree Size indicates, I am actually only using 165 GB. I have a large hiberfil.sys, but that is included in the 165 GB.
So my question is - why does Explorer think I am using 850GB?
