I did not get any error codes. When I click on the printer icon, nothing happens. I also tried file, print on the top left. Nothing happens. Tried right click, then print with negative results. I ran the printer troubleshooter yesterday with no problems found. I was able to print a test page.
Printer won't print PDF Files
I downloaded Windows 10 update version 2004 yesterday now my Cannon 4820 printer will not print any PDF files from the website or from File Explorer. I have the latest driver for the printer. I ran the printer troubleshooter and was able to print out a test page. What can I do to fix this issue? Everything worked before downloading this update. I can still print emails. Should I uninstall this update? Has anyone else had this problem?

2020-06-15T16:32:22+00:00 Thanks for all the recommendations from everyone. Yesterday, I uninstalled KB4557957 and I was still not able to print PDF files. I was finally able to print PDF documents after a lot of trial and error. I made sure I had the latest version of Adobe-Acrobat Reader DC installed. My version is 2020.009.20067. Then, I opened the program and it had options to print to PDF. I used the default. So, now when I select a PDF document to print from windows explorer, an Adobe printer page opens up. All PDF docs. are printing fine now. I did reinstall KB4557957.

There was a security update for Adobe Flash Player installed in the last week or so. When I uninstalled it I was able to print PDFs.
