Hi Team,

I need help in resolving my wifi adapter as it is not working which is a common issue for windows 10. I tried to restart my computer a number of times.

I am getting this option and unable to fix the issue.

I tried to open device manager but I am not able to see the wireless adapter at first glance like the below screenshot

But when I select "show hidden devices" then my network wifi adapter comes as per the below screenshot.

I found the Qualcom wireless adapter which is hidden and tried to update the driver as per the below screenshot

I installed the software but still my system is not recognizing the wifi adapter. My wifi connections are  not coming

It is mentioning that my wifi adapter is unplugged by referring to drivereasy updates option

Could you please resolve my wifi network adapter issue by referring the screenshots and suggest a good solution for resolving the issue

Hi, I'm Bianca, an Independent Advisor for Microsoft, an expert and a Microsoft user like you. I'm happy to assist you.

The network troubleshooter in Windows 10 is a useful tool to resolve network issues. Just type network troubleshooter on the search bar. Look for "Identify and repair network problems". Follow the instructions and run the network troubleshooter from there.

I hope this helps. If not, let me know if this does not work or if you've tried this already.

Thanks, for your valuable time. The commands did not resolve the issue after restarting my laptop.

I have a talk with dell support guys and they do diagnostic test by pressing f12. then the guy asked to press f2 to check whether my wifi is showing or not. At that moment, it showed and my wifi device name came in the bios

But when I re-started my computer, I saw the same issue occurred and wifi is not detected in bios. It is showing error 45 as per the screenshots

Could you please give me an alternative solution if possible

Oh. I'm sorry if you need to urgently fix this. I’ll try to help you and assist you as fast as I can. Let us try to reset your TCP/IP. These are network protocols that we need to reset to fix internet connection issues. To do that, please follow the steps below:

    1. Open Command Prompt and run as Admin.
    2. Enter the following commands and press ENTER after each command:

    netsh int ip reset

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

    1. Restart your PC and see if your Wifi connection is already fixed.

I hope this helps. If not, let me know if this does not work or if you've tried this already. I have another possible solution to try after this one.
