Update Windows 10 Build 10240 to Latest Version

I have a PC with an Intel Core i3 6100 processor, clock speed is 3.7GHz and 8GB of RAM.  I have a 930GB HHD with 891GB Free.  It's on Windows 10 Enterprise.  When I'm on WinVer I see that I'm on build 10240.  I need to try and get it on version 2004 or build 19041.  When I try to run Windows Update I'm told that I'm already fully up to date.  I rebooted the PC and tried again and I'm told that I'm fully up to date.

How do I get into a later version of Windows?

So I don't have to go to the latest release, I just have to get to something newer than what I have and this PC refuses to update to anything older than 1507.  Is there another way to get my hands on an ISO that's newer than what I have?

Looking at the DC for this office, I don't see that WSUS is running.

So I guess this is where I'm at:

    • Is there another way to get my hands on an ISO that isn't as up to date?
    • How else can we get Windows 10 Enterprise to kick on to the later versions of Windows 10 if we don't have a volume license and cannot download the updates from there?

I ran the Windows 10 Update Assistant from the link you specified.  It was happy with everything other than the "Operating System."  We got dinged there since this is Windows 10 Enterprise.  The error was:

"Contact your system administrator to upgrade Windows Server or Enterprise editions."

So I went out and found the Windows 10 May 2020 Update ISO, but it seems that the ISO is only for Home and Pro editions of Windows 10.  So I'm not sure that I'm going in the correct direction since I have Windows 10 Enterprise on this machine.

PS, I am the admin here, just took over and I've never worked with Enterprise versions of Windows before.

Microsoft are pretty strict about getting a copy of the enterprise ISO, you do really need an agreement to download it.

There isn't anyway to force this to update, I would suggest the best course of action would be to install WSUS (even temporarily) on your DC this way you can approve the feature update to those PC's.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

It looks like the feature update is still being gradually rolled out, this is why you can't download via the settings app.

The another alternative (other than waiting for the release to reach your PC) is to use WSUS since you are on the enterprise version.

Depending on how you received the original media for the enterprise installation, you may be able to download from that source (if you have a volume license agreement).

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise
