Media Feature Pack for Windows build 1909

This has been posted before and gone quiet - why is there no Media Feature Pack for the current build of Windows 10 Home (1909)?

It's not listed here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/3145500/media-feature-pack-list-for-windows-n-editions

And it is not available via Optional Features.

I can't install PS4 Remote Play without it...

    Hi Paulo,

Thanks for this. I have attached the error message that suggests I need to install Media Features. I've also provided a screenshot that shows Media Features is turned on (which, as you say, I think is the default - it's always been on). Finally, in case I was missing something, I looked into the Optional Features settings where some folk have suggested adding the Media Features Pack (as per the PS4 Remote Play error) but it's not listed and its not an option to add (which makes sense, since I think it's a default feature on regular Windows 10).

Interestingly, it just works on my Windows 10 Surface Pro.

    Hello mjb24v,

Double check using option 1 in the tutorial below to see if it may be able to help install the Media Feature Pack for your Windows 10 version 1909.

Hi mjb24v, I am Paulo. I'm an Independent Advisor and an individual like you inclined to help out.

By Optional Features, do you mean the Windows Features on or off? Please take note that the link you provided is only for Windows 10 N versions. All other versions should have Media Features automatically installed.

If you haven't checked that out yet, go to Control Panel > Programs & Features > Turn Windows Features on or off > Check Media Features then apply and restart your computer.

If it is still missing and your version isn't Windows 10 N, can you provide the error while installing the app? Much better if you can attach a screenshot.

Thanks Shaun. There's no pack for 1909 there and when I tried installing the most recent available pack (1903) it said it wasn't compatible with my build.
