Can't get special youtube app deployed to Android devices

I am playing with Intune and Android stuff, still learning about mobile devices. I am trying to deploy Youtube Vanced app to android, because it has no adds or other crap there. I have 2 different problems;

  1. If I download the APK file from the developer site https://vancedapp.com/ , apply it in Intune and start required deployment, nothing happends. Deployment status is empty after a days. One mobile infrastructure specialist told me, that APK is only for your own inhouse purpose and requires signing with certificate, so I should forget about this.
  2. I found similar app in Google Store, "Pure Tube: Block Ads for Music Tube & Video Tube", approved that in Intune console, but syncing does not bring it into Android App list at all, also tried manual sync and waited for few days.

So, am I doing something which should never even work, or what is the explanation for this? :)

    @Pavel yannara Mirochnitchenko Thanks for posting in our Q&A. From your description, did you mean that you approve this app in Managed Google Play via intune, but this app doesn't show in Android app list. If there is any misunderstanding, feel free to let us know.

    For this issue, I have tried this action in my lab. When I approve this app and then click on "sync", it shows in the android app list quickly.

    To clarify this issue, it is suggested to check some information:
    1.Please check if the status of Managed Google Play is active.

    2.Please try to manually sync in Tenant administration > Connectors and tokens > Managed Google Play and then check if we can see this app in Android app list.

    Thank you for support @Lu Dai-MSFT ! I did re-sync with Global Admin account and it did appear in app store. It is highly possible, that I did first approval and sync with Intune admin account without MSFB rights.
