Windows + P feature not working

Hi there! I've been having a few issues with my two-monitor setup on windows. I would switch between one and the other through the "Win + P" command, and it used to work just fine. However, for whatever reason it just doesn't work anymore at all. It does pop up when I press Win+P, but the options don't do anything. I have to manually go to display settings and switch them from there, which is very bothersome. I'm on the latest Windows version and didn't change any setting before it stopped working.

I thought it could be an update issue, and Windows did indeed update some features overnight, but they are not related to display settings at all, only Windows Defender and Flash Player updates, which I doubt would interfere with the Win+P shortcut. I wonder if there is any way to fix this without having to go through a Windows reinstall?

Thank you in advance.

    Greetings,

My name is Rhaine, I'm Independent Community Advisor. I’m so glad assisting you today

I am also Windows user. Let us work together to sort this out.

Some keyboards have a Game Mode button either on the physical board or within software. This function also breaks the WIN + P functionality. If you turn it off it will allow you to switch between displays again

Here's the link on how to disable the Game Mode as reference
