There is NO icon on my computer where I can go directly to Tools. Why is this such a problem?

    Hi BLKBRD37

What Tools are you looking to access on Windows 10?

Microsoft are in the process of moving all settings from the old Control Panel to the new Settings App, so some settings are in either of those two applications

To access the Settings App, click the gear icon on your Start menu

To access the old Control Panel, click your Start Menu, then just type control and hit Enter

If there are specific settings you cannot find, please provide some more information on that and i will provide you with the relevant information . . .

    Hi bb37

The steps to enable JavaScript are browser specific, if, for example you are using Edge, click the 3 dots at the top right and choose Settings, on the resulting page, type JavaScript in the search box and you will find that setting

OF you are not using Edge, lease let me know what browser you are using . . .

Javascript is enabled in your web browser. Tell us what web browser you use, and someone will show you how to see if Javascript is enabled.  It would be unusual for it not to be enabled.

For example, here's where to see it in Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Permissions > JavaScript
