I would try each solution one at a time, reboot the PC between each and check if you still have the same problem.
If you have any issues let me know and I'll try to assist.
Kind Regards,
Elise

Hi there, I recently built a new PC from scratch and installed Windows 10 Pro but I've been having an issue with it since day one (it's been about two months since I first noticed the problem):
My computer just loses whatever I have copied to my clipboard. I try to paste and nothing is there.
It's gotten incredibly annoying, and will sometimes happen as many as 4-5 times in a 15 minute session of copy/paste intensive work.
I'm at a complete loss as to what to do here. Help, please? It makes doing my work feel like I am constantly swimming against the current just trying to do basic data entry.
I asked for help here and the solution offered did NOT help and the advisor stopped responding.

Hi, I'm Elise, an independent advisor and I'd be happy to help with your issue.
There are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to try resolve this:
Solution 1 – Using System 32 Folder
Solution 2] Reset the rdpclip.exe process
1] Press CTRL+ALT+DEL and select Task Manager from among the options.
2] In the processes tab, check for the rdpclip.exe service.
3] Right-click and click on End process.
4] Now close Task manager and open it again.
5] Go to File >> Run new task.
6] Type rdpclip.exe in the dialogue box and press Enter. It will re-initiate the process.
7] Restart the system.
Through Command Prompt
1] Press Win + R to open the Run window. Type the command cmd and hit Enter to open the Command Prompt window.
2] Type the following command in the Command Prompt window and press Enter:
taskkill.exe /F /IM rdpclip.exe
3] Type rdpclip.exe in the window and press Enter. This command re-initiates the rdpclip.exe task.
Solution 3] Use the “echo off” command on Command Prompt
1] Open the Command Prompt window as suggested in the previous solution.
2] Type the following command and press Enter:
cmd /c"echo off|clip
3] Restart the system.
Let us know how you get on with those.
Kind Regards,
Elise
Thanks. Should I do all of them or try them one at a time and go down the list if the problem persists?
