    Hi martinQB,

I'm Jen a fellow Windows 10 user and an Independent Advisor here to help. Is this only happening in Maxthon browser? This error means the browser cannot establish a secure connection. Here are the troubleshooting steps that you can do

    1. First, optimize your browser. Clear the cache, cookies, temporary files on your browser's settings. Close the browser and restart your computer then check if you are still getting the error message.
    2. Configure Internet Properties
    • Open Start Menu and search for Control Panel
    • Network and Internet
    • Network and sharing center
    • Click Internet Options on the lower-left corner
    • Go to the Advanced tab
    • Scroll through the list and put a check on SSL 1.0, SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0
    • Click apply and again click on Ok
    1. Run these commands in Command prompt
    • Open Command prompt (admin)
    • Type the following commands. Hit Enter after each command

    ipconfig/flushdns

    nbtstat -R

    nbtstat -RR

    netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

    netsh winsock reset

    • Close command prompt after running all the commands and Restart your computer
    • You might need to reconnect to your network, then check if you are still getting the error
    1. Change DNS server
    • Open Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing center
    • Click on Connections it shows your network name
    • Click on Properties
    • Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and go to Properties
    • Select "Obtain IP address automatically"
    • Then select "Use the following DNS server address"

    Preferred DNS: 8.8.8.8

    Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4

    • Ok and close the Wifi properties windows
    • Restart the computer

I hope this helps. Don't hesitate to ask back if you need further assistance. Have a great day and stay safe!

    Best,

    Jen
