Thank you for the reply. I have tried to access the bios from startup by pressing f2 but it's not working. Been doing that for 2 hours now. Am really beat. I tried force shutdown but the keys won't work. I removed the battery for up to 30 mins nothing. It's shows the buttons to press at booting so am sure it's f2. Even the f4 for recovery written at boot also isn't working.
Bios key not working and uefi firmware missing
hello everyone, am in a tough spot right now. I converted my disk to gpt from mbt and I was supposed to access my bios to change from legacy to uefi. The problem is my bios key f2 for my Samsung laptop isn't entering bios and the booting keeps going into a loop state.
I attached a bootable USB to gain access to the troubleshoot interface and the uefi firmware setting is missing. now I don't know what to do. I have tried the
cmd x:\sources>shutdown /r /f o but I get the message "shutdown is not recognized as an internal or external command.
Right now am just stuck at this advanced options troubleshooter. Any advice will be very appreciated.

2020-06-20T02:26:40+00:00 No. dont exist, the bios have superior privileges compared to Windows system. So almost anything from Windows can affect the bios straight just specific things on the kernel level.
Try rewrite the bios chip !
Be careful this could result in one useless pc forever.
If the bios rewrite don't work just a person with the necessary skills will help you !

2020-06-20T01:21:43+00:00 I removed the HD and still couldn't access bios. Just kept looping the error message "all boot options tried press f4 for recovery.."
Am wondering if there is a command that can edit the bios setting to change from legacy or a cmd that I use to access the bios.

With some bios when you dont have a bootable device they give you 3 options
try reboot
setup utility (bios)
onboard diagnostics
So remove the HD or SSD and turn without them !

If you change the Windows guid or record table with him installed, you broke the record boot partition.
The other thing is if you have 100% sure if your pc is compatible with GPT.
try enter the bios pressing f2 key since the beginning bios post. ( if the bios screen logo appers on the start up maybe the key can be broke). (maybe on the fast mode).
When you get in on the bios boot on the drive with the UEFI option.
