How do I pair my Apple airpods with my windows 10 hp laptop? It is not showing me an option to pair through bluetooth.

"Alright so a lot of people seem to be having trouble with this, and it’s in part because Windows is difficult at connecting to Bluetooth devices, while AirPods sucks at connecting to non-Apple devices.

Here’s my process.

To pair the AirPods, turn off Bluetooth on both your Windows 10 device and your iPhone or anything else that’ll try to connect to AirPods. Then, turn on Bluetooth on your Win10 and have it in discovery so you can see things to connect to. Then open up AirPods and hold the sync button. The AirPods should show up on the screen, however, they aren’t always labeled (basically just say device), so it’s best to initially pair them where there aren’t other BT devices. Click on the AirPods to pair. If this doesn’t work, keep trying until it does.

That’s the hardest part, but you only have to do it once. Now, to use them in the future, once they’re already paired:

• Turn of your phone’s Bluetooth (or anything else that might auto connect)
• Turn off Windows Bluetooth
• Turn on Windows Bluetooth
• Immediately open AirPods and start putting them in your ear.
• Give it a second to connect. I like to test it by changing the volume so that it plays a sound.
• Rinse and repeat until this works.
• Usually works the 1st or 2nd time for me.
