Could not find or load Qt platform plugin "windows" in ""

I've been trying to install the Origin launcher for a couple days now.  Every time I launch the setup application it gives me the following error:

This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "windows" in "",

Available platform plugins are: minimal, windows.

Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I've been looking around for a while now and nothing that I can find has been able to help.  I've tried sfc /scannow, DISM commands, and I've even reset my PC.  I haven't recently changed any hardware, and the only software changes before this were windows updates.  Since this error occurred I've updated my drivers, BIOS, etc.

I'm not particularly computer savvy, but I know enough to be able to find and follow instructions.  However nothing I've found has fixed my problem.

Could anyone tell me what the error means and what causes it?  As well as any possible solutions to this issue?

For anyone else who may have this problem, I eventually solved this by resetting my Windows drive and starting over from scratch.  Luckily I didn't have to tamper with my main drive, so it didn't suck so bad.

If you're wondering, linked below are the steps I took to do that.  Look for "Reset your PC"

Keep in mind I tried this with the "Keep my files" option, which did not work.  Removing everything was what worked for me.

Unfortunately each method yielded the same error.  I'm continuing to look online for solutions, though I do appreciate your suggestions regardless.  Thank you :)
