I do have a backup to my old windows in a file called Windows.old.

Also run Windows update to get all default drivers delivered over this component. Sometimes this is all it takes to fix missing drivers.

In some cases this is normal as the commands to copy files only kilobytes in size as some drivers are take no time to execute so the script is finished and the cmd closes.

If you ran it as admin alread make sure you downloaded the right driver for the right OS, model, OS variant (32 bit, 64 bit) and the newest version.

    Hello Fahad-alj,

thank you for providing this question.

I am a seasoned Windows expert with almost a decade in usage and support experience and hope to resolve your problems quickly.

After you ran the cmd please restart the pc for the driver to load.

If it didnt work run the cmd again but with shift + rightclick -> Run as admin.

The subsequent reboot after driver installation should always be done.

If fingerprint was setup before but is not working now please use this guide:

If you consider your problem solved it would be very good if you marked the answer which helped you so others can find and use this thread.
