It sounds like windows is still detecting something wrong and closing down to protect the hardware.
Could something have been damaged during the overheating problem. What was it and what did you do to resolve it.

Hello,
My Name is Chander and I am Independent Advisor and a fellow Windows 10 user like you. I hope I can help you on your concern.
It seems like your computer is shutting down due to overheating problem?
Can you check the CPU temperature of your computer and let me know what it is?
Depending upon your computer model, there should be some applications preinstalled in your computer that can show you the temperature in windows otherwise you may need to check the temperature in Bios. If the termperature is over 65 - 70 C, it will shutdown.
You may also use this tool to check temperature if you don't have already any - https://openhardwaremonitor.org/downloads/
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

It's difficult to determine like this what may be the problem.
Do HP offer any diagnostic software to check hardware.
If perhaps it's a system setting then try windows system files:
Method 1:
Run DISM tool and check the issue. Please follow these steps:
a. Press Windows + X keys and click command prompt (admin). Or PowerShell (Admin).
b. Type the following command in command prompt and press Enter.
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
after the scan is complete type the following and press Enter
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
then use method 2.
Method 2:
System file checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.
Run system file checker (SFC) and see if it helps. Please follow these steps:
a. Press Windows + X keys and click command prompt (admin). Or PowerShell (Admin).
b. Type the following command in command prompt and press Enter.
sfc /scannow
After completing the scans restart using Start > Power > Restart.
